So this past weekend my sister and I went Glass Blowing.  It was so cool.  We got to pick out the colors and actually make it.  We decided that we were going to make glass flowers.  The studio actually has some really cool work too.  Mcfadden Art Glass   Here are some photos of the adventure.

 Dana adding her colors, it was weird playing with the molten glass but definitely a lot of fun.

 I know they actually let us throw our flowers in the fire.  It was warm in there.

 Both Dana and I dropped our flowers at least once as we were trying to pull them.  Fortunately, they were attached so we didn't break them.

After we went glass blowing we went to lunch next door at the Glass Grill.  It was good food with a low key feel.  The glass grill has amazing chandeliers that were created by Tim McFadden (the owner of McFadden Art Glass)

 I think I'm going to go again sometime and maybe make a vase next time or another flower (I really like the flowers)... they were just so much fun.  So it really wasn't that expensive and they let you make quite a few different items.
